Tottenham are known admirers of Conor Gallagher. The Englishman has been the standout performer for Chelsea in Mauricio Pochettino's first season in charge. The versatility shown by Gallagher has made him the first name on the team-sheet and more often than not, he has been the best player on the pitch for the Blues this season.

But given the situation Chelsea find themselves in, potentially trophyless and finishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table, Gallagher is one of the players who deserves better. Therefore, it's no surprise to see him linked to Spurs, who have shown a new lease of life under their new manager Ange Postecoglou (who is hilariously having a much easier time than Poch).

Conor Gallagher has shown his commitment to Chelsea, but only until the end of this season. After that, it remains to be seen what will happen to the Englishman. His Stamford Bridge contract expires in 2025, so if he doesn't put pen to paper, the best course of action might be for Chelsea to sell him. After all, he is one of the lucky ones who isn't in the Chelsea prison until the late 2020s.

According to a report by Football London, Chelsea find themselves in the position of needing to sell players in the summer transfer window. This to ensure they align themselves with financial rules and avoid suffering the same fate as Everton. Therefore, Gallagher has been listed as one of the 15 players Chelsea could sell in the summer transfer window.

Gallagher would be perfect for Ange. If he is the diamond in the rough at the struggling Chelsea team and showing his leadership qualities as the interim captain, imagine what he could achieve at a club who are actually showing a desire to achieve.
