Tottenham hosted Qarabag at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, 26th September, for Matchday 1 of the new UEFA Europa League 2024/25 league stage.
Spurs found themselves in a challenging match that quickly escalated when Radu Dragusin was sent off in the 7th minute. However, just five minutes later, they managed to 'rectify' the situation with an equally early goal.
For context, it was a tough victory for Ange Postecoglou's side, who showcased some individual talents that we'll discuss shortly. Now, let's dive into the player ratings for the Spurs squad.

A great match from the Italian. He instilled a lot of confidence from the goal. He made five saves, two of which were from shots within his area. The only time he ventured outside the box, he handled it well, clearing the ball twice and making a crucial interception.
