We are now two match days into the 24/25 Europa League campaign, where Spurs remain one of just five of 36 teams to have won both of their games in the competition so far.

However, it is not just Spurs players that have been in Europa League action - but club scouts too. According to Swedish media outlet Aftonbladet (via Sport Witness), there were Spurs scouts present at the game between Elfsborg and Roma last Thursday evening.

The Swedish side pulled off a shock result, beating their Italian counterparts 1-0 thanks to a penalty just before the stroke of half-time.

According to the report, players like Besfort Zeneli, Timothy Ouma, and Michael Baidoo, who scored the said penalty, are all wanted by the "top clubs". Zeneli is a 21-year old defensive midfielder from Kosovo, whilst Ouma is a 20-year old box to box midfielder from Kenya. You can picture him watching Spurs as boy for Victor Wanyama. Finally, Baidoo is a 25-year old striker from Ghana.

Spurs will actually play both of these teams in their remaining league phase fixtures. The game with Roma is at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the the 29th November, whilst the Elfsborg showdown is also at home, as one of the two league phase games to be played in the new year - with this game being on the 29th January, the clubs final game before the knockout stages should they qualify.

Elfsborg lost to AZ Alkmaar in their first game, and sit in 16th place, with three points from two games. Roma drew to Athletic Club on opening night, and are all the way down in 27th, with just a point from their two outings so far.

Something to consider is that due to the Scandinavian winters, the Swedish football schedule is mapped out by calendar year, making potential winter transfers easier than when negotiating with clubs from Western Europe.
