It was the perfect start to the new Nations League campaign for Radu Dragusin and Romania, who started off their campaign with maximum points from both of their opening two games.

On Friday night, they kicked off with a 3-0 win away to Kosovo in a very good team performance.

Dragusin, who made his first start of the season for Spurs against Newcastle United just over a week ago, played the full 90 minutes again here and recorded; nine clearances, interception, 2/3 aerial duels won, and two fouls drawn. The Spurs defender picked up a yellow card for dissent deep into injury time.

Despite being just 22 years of age, it was (coincidentally) the defender's 22nd cap for his country, showing how well he is developing at such a young age.

Romania then recorded their second win from as many games, as they beat Lithuania 3-1 at home, despite leaving it late with goals in the 87th and 92nd minute.

Dragusin once again played the full 90, though will be disappointed that there was no clean sheet this time. It was a more mixed performance individually from the Spurs centre half too, though he still made three clearances, one interception, completed 40/41 passes, and 2/3 long balls.

Perfect start for Radu Dragusin and his Romania side

Despite being just 22 years of age, it was (coincidentally) the defender's 22nd cap for his country, showing how well he is developing at such a young age.

Romania impressed with their performance at the European Championships, qualifying for the round of 16 before losing to The Netherlands in Munich

They seem to have taken that confidence into the Nations League, as they look to get promoted from League C, the third out of four leagues in the Nations League, into League B. With a group consisting of Lithuania, Cyprus, and the aforementioned Kosovo, there is no reason why a side capable of making the knockout stages of the Euros cannot win the group.
