Tottenham Hotspur fans are understandably excited for the season ahead. There is not only a sense of excitement but also a longing for redemption. After all, last season was improvement on the previous season without Ange Postecoglou but it left a lot to be desired, firstly losing the place at the top of the table and then ultimately missing out on the top four.
That said, the summer transfer window has presented a golden opportunity to Ange Postecoglou to strengthen the foundations for the season ahead. The Aussie manager has actually taken a longer-term approach to this summer's business, signing two teenagers in Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray.
As Tottenham prepare for their pre-season matches, it could be a perfect opportunity for fans to assess how Ange Postecolgou plans to use his two new signings in the system and get a greater understanding of the proposed tactics for the upcoming season.

Indeed, Archie Gray is tipped to make his pre-season debut against Hearts tomorrow evening (Wednesday 17 July) by EPL Index (h/t One Football). Archie Gray played for Tottenham in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the weekend, seemingly setting himself up for a preseason debut this week.
The dynamic midfielder is tipped to play in a pivot alongside Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Sarr or Yves Bissouma. While Gray is great at bombing forward, his greatest asset is his ability to dictate play from a deep-lying position. He also has incredible maturity for his age, meaning he's able to read the play and assess the best course of action for this teammates.
Having already gelled with his Tottenham teammates behind closed doors, it is hopefully time for Archie Gray to present himself to the Tottenham supporters in a non-pressurised pre-season friendly. Still, Tottenham fans will come to lean that pressured situations are what brings the best out of Gray.
