Spence to stay at Genoa?
Signed two summers ago from Championship side Middlesbrough, Djed Spence was supposed to be a long-term option at one of the full-back positions. However, in two seasons at Spurs, he's only made four first-team appearances. Even after Postecoglou took the reins last summer, it seemed like Spence didn't seem long for the Lilywhites
Well, top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Spence's latest loan might turn into a permanent move for the English national defender. Genoa, whom Spence played in a total of 16 appearances for during the second half of last season, is working with Spurs to make Spence's move a long-term one. It will be up to the decision-makers at Tottenham if they decide to move on from Spence, and if so, what the right price will be. Truth Meter: 8/10.
