Gallagher to stay at Chelsea?

Despite reports linked Chelsea's Conor Gallagher to Tottenham for over a year now, it seems as if Gallagher would like to stay at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future. The 24-year-old Chelsea captain recently told Sky Sports the following: “Myself and everyone at Chelsea are excited and happy to work with Enzo Maresca. We want to get Chelsea back to where they belong!”

Even though he'd like to stay with the club, Chelsea may have no choice but to sell the midfielder, particularly to meet PSR requirements. Further complicating matters is that Aston Villa is also high on Gallagher, as their coach Unai Emery would love to add him to his squad as well.

Tottenham have been chasing Gallagher for quite a while now, and he would be an excellent addition to a midfield that could use him. Although he wants to stay with the Blues, there are multiple scenarios in which he could be sold. Truth Meter: 9/10 that Gallagher wants to stay, 5/10 that he will be sold this summer.
