Harry Kane praised Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham thrashed Man United
By Kian Long
Once dubbed "one of our own", Harry Kane still loves Tottenham Hotspur. In fact, he even praised Ange Postecoglou after the Man United thrashing.
Tottenham fans need no reminding about Harry Kane. He is potentially the best player in the club's history and as a minimum, he is always included in the conversation.
The England striker came close to breaking the all-time Premier League record in terms of goals scored. However, it wasn't to be in the end, as he joined Bayern Munich in 2023.
By no means was it a bitter departure. The 2023 summer transfer window marked a new era for Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou and Harry Kane as a player. So, Tottenham fans wished him well and the same can be said vice versa.
Harry Kane praised Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham thrashed Man United
According to Football London, Harry Kane has made a telling comment about Tottenham Hotspur. He praised his beloved former club after watching them thrash Manchester United at the weekend.
In his own words, Harry Kane said: "Yeah I did watch [Man United 0-3 Tottenham], I thought it was a really great game from Spurs, probably one of the best I've seen in a while, I really enjoyed that one.
Harry Kane continued: "Even before the sending off, I thought Spurs were really dominant, it was great to watch them get a really good victory."
In particular, the comment about the weekend's performance being the best in a while is quite telling.
It was a dominant performance from Spurs orchestrated by Ange Postecoglou, one which has not seen in some time. So, it was well received by Tottenham fans - Harry Kane being in that group, of course.
This season, Harry Kane has scored an incredible nine goals in six games for Bayern Munich. He has only gone from strength-to-strength since leaving Tottenham.
As for Tottenham, they hope that their recent form is a sign of better things to come under Ange Postecoglou. The Aussie boss didn't have the best start to the season but to receive praise for his performance from Harry Kane should spur him on (if you pardon the pun).
