Tottenham Hotspur are currently involved in pre-season. As things stand, Tottenham have won two of two pre-season matches, so they are setting some good foundations for the season ahead. Last time out in Ange Postecoglou's first season in charge, he led Spurs to fifth place in the table. It was an improvement on the previous season which left more to be desired, missing out on the top four.

In the 2024/25 season, Tottenham hope to finish in the top four and return to the Champions League once more. With the right signings and luck happening around them in the table, it can certainly happen. However, what are Tottenham's chances of breaking the top four?

Well, it comes down to a lot of factors. Until the transfer window and pre-season is over for every club, it is almost impossible to predict... Or at least, impossible for humans to predict.

To build some anticipation for the season ahead and to help Tottenham fans set their standards, we asked ChatGPT where it thinks Tottenham will finish in the 2024/25 season.

So, ChatGPT is not optimistic that Tottenham can achieve their objective of finishing in the top four, unless factors outside of their control go their way.

ChatGPT's prediction aside, Ange Postecoglou will hope to keep things very much in his control and within the realm of Tottenham's grasp. Needless to say, they must improve on last season, as the aim of Postecoglou is to achieve incremental improvement and breaking into the top four, even if only narrowly, would achieve that.

The problem which Tottenham face is that there are many teams playing great football who would like to break into the top four. Man City are essentially guaranateed a place in first, let alone the top four. Then, new manager Arne Slot will be eager to keep Liverpool's place in the top three and so will Mikel Arteta of Arsenal.

For the fourth spot, the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Man United and even Newcastle could be competing. But Tottenham must not focus on the competition and they must instead focus on their own game plan.
