Since Ange Postecoglou took charge at Tottenham Hotspur at the start of this season, he has had a tremendous impact. Spurs are now on an upward trajectory under the tutelage of the Aussie boss and fans finally have a reason to believe they can start competing with the big dogs in England once again.

Admittedly, the last time Spurs felt like this was when Mauricio Pochettino was at the helm. Since the Argentine boss left, Spurs have been managed by a plethora of different managers, all of them having their own individual downfalls, despite being world-class coaches elsewhere. "Right person at the right time" springs to mind for Ange.

Ange Postecoglou urged to sell FAILED Mauricio Pochettino signing at Tottenham

According to Tom Lever of Football FanCast, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou should consider selling Giovani Lo Celso this summer. The Italian midfielder was initially signed on loan by Mauricio Pochettino in 2019 and he has not impressed since he joined the club.

As per WhoScored, Lo Celso has started just four Premier League matches this season. Despite scoring twice and providing two assists, his appearances have been low quality and he is low in the Ange Postecoglou hierarchy of midfielders. Therefore, it is expected the Italian will be sold in the summer transfer window.

After all, his contract with Spurs runs out in 2025. If he isn't sold this summer, then Ange Postecoglou runs the risk of losing him for free next year. While Spurs can recuperate some of their losses on the midfielder, they should absolutely do that.

Hotspur HQ recently revealed that Giovani Lo Celso was one of the Tottenham players on thin ice. This opinion is shared by fans and even some neutral fans are questioning why he is still a Spurs player. It's a new era under Ange, so expect dead-wood to be sold in this summer transfer window.
