Ange Postecoglou has been very vocal about his pride in his new signings. He highlighted Tottenham signing Wilson Odobert as one player with a huge ceiling.

Wilson Odobert recently featured for Tottenham, making his Premier League debut against Everton. He then started his second consecutive match, against Newcastle United. Unfortunately for Tottenham, it was not the second match they'd anticipated, since they lost at St James Park.

Now, Tottenham Hotspur have a break from action due to the September international break. When they return in a couple of weeks, Ange Postecoglou will expect improvements.

As things stand, Tottenham sit tenth in the Premier League, having won just one of their opening three league fixtures. Improvements must be made, but Odobert could be key to that.

As per TEAMTALK, Ange Postecoglou was most excited about signing teenage winger Wilson Odobert. Signed with a couple of weeks to spare in the summer transfer window, Ange Postecoglou is incredibly excited by Wilson Odobert.

In his own words, Postecoglou said: “Wilson was great last week. I was wrapped to get him. He was one I was really keen on all summer. We had to be patient with him as the Dom Solanke deal went on a bit longer than we thought it would and we had to get that done first."

Postecoglou continued: ”He did great for us. It was his first game, as a 19-year-old, and he was exciting to watch. He will get more and more comfortable with us. I don’t mind players coming in early and us giving them exposure early as it gets it out of the way.”

Certainly, Wilson Odobert is a player with exciting potential. He has played well for Tottenham in his opening two fixtures, even if the second wasn't the result they wanted.

Odobert is a breath of fresh air. He reminds Tottenham fans of some of their best wingers of the past, boasting great speed and confidence to take on opposing full-backs in one-on-one situations.

Odobert starred for his country at the recent Olympic games. Now, it is anticipated he is due his senior international call-up for France. However, Postecoglou will only focus on implementing him more into the Tottenham team. He has certainly made a mark already in a short period of time.
