Con 3 - Goals conceded

If Spurs are going to continue to make progression, the goals conceded column must start to look healthier. Spurs' 61 goals conceded in the league was worse than Man United, Crystal Palace and Everton. It was only 4 goals fewer than 16th placed Brentford and 17th placed Nottingham Forest (SofaScore).

Of course, a lot of these goals were when Spurs didn't have their first choice back-four, whether it be Van De Ven and/or Romero, or Udogie. But even when everyone has been available, Spurs have looked vulnerable at times.

Overall verdict - as seen above, more pros than cons. Things to work on, but a marked improvement. Spurs must continue to improve to avoid being left behind. COYS.
