5. James Maddison

It was another performance from the summer signing to showcase he is back to his best. To be frank, he has gone through periods of inconsistency this season after a ferocious start to the campaign.

This is to be expected, especially in a player's debut campaign for a new club. However, against Man City in midweek, James Maddison showcased a brilliant attacking performance which probably warranted a goal return or two.

Needless to say, Tottenham Hotspur must take the game by the scruff of the neck against Sheffield United. Even if it is only to provide a safety blanket, they must control the game well and approach the game with great attacking buildup play.

James Maddison plays with direct confidence and he is comfortable in position. Furthermore, in attack, a lot of the play runs through him. Tottenham's chances of qualifying for European competition could depend on how they approach the final game of the season so having Maddison as a non-negotiable starter will secure better chances in the attack.
