2. Richarlison (€58m)

Richarlison was close to going down the Ndombele route but two years into his Tottenham spell, he proved his worth and is now a valued member of the squad under Ange Postecoglou.

He signed from Everton in 2022 for a fee of €58m and did not have a great first season. However, this was an anomolous season for Spurs as they underwent a period of transition. Ange's arrival at the beginning of the 2023/24 season marked the breakthrough for Richarlison and ignited the spark which the club saw in him before he signed.

Richarlison is currently the second top goal-scorer in the Premier League for Spurs this season, despite not being a sure starter. He has been a valuable squad member and ofentimes has changed the game since coming from the bench. Next season, he will hope to push for a more consistent place in the starting lineup as he is certainly capable of that.

Has Richarlison justified his price tag? I would say yes but another good season would surely satisfy the doubters.
