It is common knowledge that Spurs are in dire need of a winger this summer as Ange Postecloglu looks to bolster his squad for his second season at the helm

One option they could look at is Genoa's Icelandic right-winger Albert Guðmundsson.

Guðmundsson has seriously impressed in Serie A this season, racking up 14 goals in 32 league games. (SofaScore)

He isn't the dribbly, agile, nimble winger that some fans have been crying out for, but his 14 league goals are more than any Spurs player not named Heung Min-Son can boast (SofaScore).

Heung Min-Son and Richarlison are the only Spurs players who have scored double-figure goals in the Premier League this season. They are the only two players with more than six league goals. (SofaScore)

That player with six is Dejan Kulusevski, who, with the two aforementioned players, is Spurs' only three players who can say they have scored more than Centre-Back Cristian Romero's five goals. This has to change next season if Spurs are to improve. (SofaScore)

Guðmundsson gives Spurs a goalscoring threat they currently don't have. On top of his 14 Serie A goals, the Icelandic attacker scored 2 goals in 2 Coppa Italia games, as well as 4 goals in 2 European Championship play-off games. This gives him a tally of 20 goals in 36 games for club and country this season. (SofaScore)

Djed Spence could be used as leverage in talks, with the full-back having spent the last few months on loan in Italy.
