Tottenham Hotspur will face Leeds United this Saturday in the Premier League and are looking to make it four straight wins after a winless six to start Roberto De Zerbi's first full league campaign at N17. Spurs have now leapfrogged Leeds in the table after their 2-0 win over rivals Crystal Palace, whereas Leeds lost 2-0 to a returning Eli Junior Kroupi off the bench and his AFC Bournemouth.

Over the past couple of weeks, a couple of heroes have emerged for Tottenham, and one of them is Mohammed Kudus, who soaked up Man of the Match honors officially in the win over Palace, though many fans will argue that players in the defense and midfield may have deserved it more.

Still, Kudus has been brilliant during the winning streak, shedding the injury woes that ended his promising debut 2025/26 campaign even under Thomas Frank prematurely. Kudus has looked fit and sharp, and he recorded an assist from a corner for Archie Gray last weekend while putting in a more gritty two way shift at Stamford Bridge in a historic win for the Lilywhites.

Mohammed Kudus may not be able to impact the scoreline

Against Leeds, who have the third best defense in the Premier League in terms of goals allowed, a display with more grinta may be what's in order for Mohammed Kudus. Tottenham Hotspur fans are a bit frustrated that Kudus is having trouble scoring goals, and he flubbed the best chance of the night against Crystal Palace, somehow wasting an open net that was gifted to him by super sub Luca Williams-Barnett.

But regardless, Kudus played a great game, and, really, his job isn't to be the goal scorer but the player who sets the table. That will be the case again vs. Leeds, because the left sided center back shading him, Tarik Muharemovic, has been one of the best players in the entire Premier League since joining the Peacocks this summer after looking so promising for Sassuolo in Serie A that even Spurs were seriously linked to him as a possible Cristian Romero replacement.

Muharemovic has definitely been as advertised, and it is going to be tough for Kudus to get inside him and be a real goal threat. So the real key for Kudus is going to be helping track back for Pedro Porro, who may start this weekend for the first time in several weeks, and to carry the ball tirelessly so that Spurs are always pressing the opponent. Kudus will have to be active defensively, smart with his passing on the ball, and his performance will be evaluated more on the dirty work than the goals and assists against a team like Leeds.
