Tottenham Hotspur winger prospect Mikey Moore had a very good season on loan at Rangers in 2025/26, blossoming when Danny Rohl became the Scottish powerhouse's manager. Moore brought dynamism, maturity, one on one quality, and big goals in even bigger games for Rangers against arch rivals Celtic and others.

A promising player in the Spurs first team under Ange Postecoglou during the 2024/25 season, including the Europa League, Moore has taken that next step in his career by playing well for a quality club in Rangers.

Moore has opened the door for a Tottenham transfer, but Tottenham do not seem so sold yet. They have not made it clear that they want him back in the first team just yet, and it appears they do not think he is ready, eyeing other winger targets like Cody Gakpo, Savinho, Marcus Rashford, and others.

Mikey Moore looks like he wants the first team

But even as he is linked to a potential dream landing spot in Borussia Dortmund for a one year loan to prove he is ready before joining Spurs, Mikey Moore seems to already be making a statement to Roberto De Zerbi that he is already prepared to make it in the first team squad at Tottenham Hotspur.

Moore posted a video of him running through finishing drills in training with Scott Chickelday, a former Spurs coach, and he looks absolutely on fire. As shared by The Spurs Web, Moore was hitting top bins all session long (well, at least in these clips) with beautiful chips and a variety of finishes.

It's just a training video made to depict Moore in a flattering light and should not factor into what Spurs actually do, but it is a real statement Moore is making to De Zerbi, Tottenham, and anyone else who is watching that he is going HARD at work to make it big and has been making strides to become a top scoring winger who can cut it at Spurs.

Tottenham have serious issues with goals and want to get more decisive players on the wings. Mathys Tel has the eye for goal but not quite the execution or consistency. And nobody else carries any sort of a goal threat after Son Heung-min's departure, which is precisely why profiles like Cody Gakpo and Marcus Rashford are being linked.

Depending on how the transfer window shakes out, though, Tottenham may not be as fortunate with the wingers as they have been in midfield and defense. Moore could yet be an asset to Spurs, rather than an asset to Dortmund.
