Tottenham Hotspur need more attacking firepower this summer transfer window, and it is going to take multiple signings to get Spurs attack back on track for the 2026/27 Premier League season as Roberto De Zerbi ambitiously hunts to immediately take the Lilywhites back to the Champions League after having to rescue them from the door step of relegation last season.
Already, Spursh have totally overhauled their midfield and even made upgrades to their defense by effectively trading Cristian Romero for Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke at center back. All that is left is the front line, which is a tall task. So far, Spurs are mostly linked to left wingers, but fans are increasingly looking at striker as the biggest need because of how badly the club lack goals without Harry Kane.
Bournemouth's gem Eli Junior Kroupi scored more goals than any Tottenham Hotspur player last season as a teenager, and when you line up his age and scoring numbers in the Premier Leauge, he is on track to become a world class player. But Spurs are not the only team interested in Junior Kroupi, as PSG and other elite clubs are also watching.
Spurs run into Eli Junior Kroupi trouble
The Cherries, though, are in the Europa League and just hired Marco Rose after losing Andoni Iraola to Liverpool. They want to win, and they value Junior Kroupi well above 100 million euros. Worse yet, they do not want to sell.
And now, according to a report from Alberto Rubio of MARCA, via PSG Report, Bournemouth have apparently told all the teams who have shown any interest in Eli Junior Kroupi this summer transfer window that the 20 year old marksman is not for sale at all.
It is a massive blow for Tottenham Hotspur, because Kroupi was clearly their top transfer target and their main goal at striker. He is better than what they have now and has so much potential. Johan Lange and Roberto De Zerbi appear to be sold on this guy as the next big thing, but if Bournemouth won't even entertain selling, then there is really nothing they can do.
Spurs have also shown interest in center midfelder Alex Scott, a lifelong fan of the Lilywhites, but Bournemouth are not budging on him either. Tottenham overpaid for Dominic Solanke a couple of years ago from the Cherries, and now that they have two players worth signing more than Solanke was, Spurs are unfortunately running into a road block.
