After nearly getting relegated, Tottenham Hotspur have to be one of the biggest buyers in the Premire League summer transfer market, and they are already off to a positive start with the additions of Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Jan Paul van Hecke. And they are also going hard after three more Premier League stars in Savinho, Sandro Tonali, and Mateus Fernandes.

There will be some high profile departures, though, and in addition to captain Cristian Romero, another quality center back is starting to look like he wants to push himself aggressively out of N17 without even starting there in the first place.

Loaned to Hamburg, Luka Vuskovic was a sensation in the Bundesliga last season, but it seems like he has let the fame get to his head because he is pretty clearly demanding to either start for Spurs immediately or be transferred out permanently; he does not appear to want to accept another loan.

Tottenham have to be sick of the drama

After reporting Brighton submitted an upgraded transfer offer to Spurs worth 45 million pounds in total, Fabrizio Romano is adding that the Croatian international is "keen on the deal" and wants to find more space and regular playing time.

It really makes no sense. Brighton were better than Tottenham in each of the past two seasons, but Spurs are the better club and have a serious manager in Roberto De Zerbi, who is working hard to make serious signings - like the Jan Paul van Hecke one that Luka Vuskovic appear to be so upset about.

Tottenham Hotspur do not want to sell Vuskovic, and if playing time is his issue, then he should just be happy with another loan. He told the whole world he wanted to play with his brother in Hamburg for another year, but maybe some people got into his head or his own ego got too big, but that loan talk all of a sudden does not seem to be very interesting to him anymore. Oh well, so much for his brotherly relationship.

Brighton will probably have to offer more than 45 million pounds, as Tottenham reportedly want 60 million pounds in order to sell Vuskovic. But Roberto De Zerbi may be less inclined to keep the player now that he is dealing with all this drama. Because as every top manager knows, if you have a young player causing drama and not invested in the club, then it is better to get rid of them. Vuskovic could just be the next Alejandro Garnacho.
