Jude Bellingham had another monster game for the England national team, and even in a deeper midfield role as the No. 8 next to Elliot Anderson, he still managed a goal and an assist in the 2-0 win over Panama. Meanwhile, star striker Harry Kane had the goal Bellingham assisted and added to his World Cup tally and his overall tally of 70 goals in a single calendar season - better than any player in history not named Lionel Messi.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters were singing Kane's prayers for years that he is one of the best strikers of all time and even the best ever England player. Most people let that fall on unlistening ears, but with Kane shattering records for Bayern Munich and the England national team, more and more people are warming up to the idea of Kane's GOAT status.

And that includes his teammate Jude Bellingham. While Jude is so good that he has somehow taken center stage over Kane at the World Cup even after people laughably wondered if Thomas Tuchel should start him, even the young Real Madrid superstar has the greatest of deference to Kane.

Harry Kane is a symbol for England

Jude told reporters after the game on the ITV broadcast, via iMiaSanMia, "I have built a good relationship with Harry over the last four or five years, especially after Qatar, playing so close together. It is an honour to play with him. For me he is the best England player of all time. He is the one who has showed up more than anyone, more than any other England player. It is quite easy to play with him in all honesty, he is at a level at the minute which is just incredible. You don't doubt him at all, in terms of whether he is involved or not, he is going to make a difference in the game and he did. He continues to raise his level and it is incredible. It's everything he deserves. You see the effort he puts in as captain and how he leads us. His quality speaks for itself; he is the best."

The way Jude Bellingham praises Harry Kane and calls him the best England player of all time, you can tell he means it from the bottom of his soul. As we saw against Panama, Jude is a guy who wants to win at all costs, and he will work so hard in every possible way to help the team win.

And he appreciates that Kane is the exact same way despite being a striker. He will work on defense, he will work to create, and even at his age and status, he is still always trying to get better. And Tottenham Hotspur fans always saw that, which is why they were calling him the GOAT long before Jude and the others were. Now the whispers are becoming loud voices on the pitch.
