Tottenham Hotspur signed Randal Kolo Muani on loan on transfer deadline day 2025 despite Juventus being desperate to rework another loan deal with PSG for the French striker, and Spurs quickly regretted their decision, though it was seemingly innocuous at the time.

Kolo Muani proved to be a monumental waste of money even as a mere loan signing, costing the team a loan transfer fee and pretty significant wages. He barely scored in the Premier League and was also terrible in the Champions League beyond a fluke hat trick in a loss to employers PSG.

Despite how terrible Kolo Muani was for Tottenham, with Spurs even contemplating releasing him from his loan transfer at the winter window, Juventus still want him back. And they have been, once again, pretty desperate to add him to their revolving door of subpar strikers - long gone are the days of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Mandzukic, Carlos Tevez, David Trezeguet, and Alessandro Del Piero in Turin.

Randal Kolo Muani is getting a fee he doesn't deserve

According to a new report from Tuttosport's Lorenzo Aprile, Juventus have submitted a final offer to PSG in this Randal Kolo Muani transfer saga, offering 45 million euros in a total package. With all PSG are doing to extort maximum value out of their massive 95 million euro transfer flop from Eintracht Frankfurt, this is, per Tuttosport, a take it or leave it type offer from the Italian giants. PSG are finally seriously considering taking the offer due to the value of the deal.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have to be incredulous that Kolo Muani is going to be a nearly 50 million euro transfer for the biggest club in Italian football, because even though Juve may have fond memories from his 2024/25 loan season in the city of Torino, he was so, so bad for Spurs in North London that nobody should even be paying a third of that money to the Parisians.

Tottenham and Juventus are not going to meet in Europe this season, but it is still wild to think that Kolo Muani is going to be rewarded with a big transfer to a historic club for a major fee when he mailed it in for Tottenham. He didn't even try for Spurs, and it was embarrassing watching him basically sabotage the club week in and week out with no effort or regard for the situation they were in. Good riddance, but it is insane what PSG have been able to get Juve to do for him.
