Coming into the must win matchup against rivals Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur supporters were optimistic that Igor Tudor would have the stones to start Antonin Kinsky over Guglielmo Vicario, giving the young and talented Czech shot stopper a chance over the former Empoli man after the starter's latest run of poor games.

Though there were rumblings pointing in that direction, once again, Tottenham fans were let down by getting their hopes up for Kinsky. The phenom sat on the bench, while Vicario surrendered three goals in quick succession at the end of the half and did his usual screaming at the fans as they booed him for another lackluster display.

To blame Vicario for this loss would be ridiculous. No, Micky van de Ven is far more at fault for his horrendous red card with the farce of wearing the captain's arm band making it look even worse, and the entire Tottenham team were terrible, save for youngstesr Archie Gray and Mathys Tel.

Tottenham fans are fed up with Guglielmo Vicario

But my goodness, for as much as he touted as being a great pure shot stopper, Vicario has done nothing to provide Spurs with any value added between the sticks in this relegation fight. Since each match started to carry a desperate level of weight to it, Vic's purported elite shot stopping has nowhere to be found. When was the last time the former Serie A star made a save that prevented a goal or got you out of your seat?

Vicario's mentality in goal has been shocking, and as tempting as it is to continue to knock him for failing to actually be the top keeper a club like Tottenham need, the blame this time should go to Tudor for not starting Kinsky when literally everyone in the fan base was past the point of seeing Vic continue to start.

Tottenham supporters had a right go at both Vicario and the staff during the game against Crystal Palace for him continuing to start, and as Inter Milan and other clubs, for some reason, continue to flirt with Vic in the transfer window, Spurs may as well see what Kinsky has in this relegation fight and going forward as a possible Vicario replacement.

Tudor should have stepped in and pulled the plug on Vicario. Tottenham fans want to see young blood who are willing to bleed for this team in the starting lineup, and Kinsky is as prepared as any young talent to take that next step in the starting lineup.
