The need for homegrown players is ever growing. It is well documented just how important it is to have talented homegrown players in your squad, to help fill the quota, and give you license to have the best overseas players, without any repercussions.

Of course, Spurs will not spend the same amount of money as these sides, but there are still smart buys there, such as Joe Gomez, Fabian Delph, and Jordan Henderson.
