Tottenham Hotspur were linked to Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye throughout the 2025/26 Premier League season, particularly at the beginning of the year when he was first breaking out for the club. Ndiaye was one of the biggest breakout wingers of the season and shining brightly when the campaign started and Everton were threatening for the European places, as he and the more senior Jack Grealish were absolutely tearing it up on the flanks as a duo.
Ndiaye finished the season with six goals, three assists, and a solid 2.3 dribbles completed per game, but because he faded out, the versatile winger, who can start on either side of the formation, faded a bit as an option for Spurs.
But he is still an option, and his ball progression, fluidity, and explosiveness off the dribble could make him a nifty backup option - or even a Plan B for Savinho if Manchester City keep waffling on the Brazilian international.
Al Hilal is trying to snap everyone up
Unfortunately, though, it looks like Iliman Ndiaye could be off the table soon and going to a new club on a big money transfer of his own. According to a surprising report from Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Arabia are looking to poach the 26 year old from Everton this summer transfer window, as Al Hilal have emerged with interest in Ndiaye.
Romano reports that Al Hilal have "opened talks" with Everton for the Senegal international and that negotiations are in the "early stages". Al Hilal already signed one quality Premier League winger who was frequently linked to Tottenham Hotspur in Dutchman Crysencio Summerville, previously a starter for West Ham United, and now they are prepared to spend a significant fee on Ndiaye, too. Furthermore, Romano says that Ndiaye is open to a move to the Saudi giants, whlie negotiations now entirely depend on how open Everton are.
Although Ndiaye is a good player, the Saudi Pro League have a lot of money to throw around to clubs, so it is unlikely Everton will say no. And if Ndiaye is open to the Saudi Pro League transfer, then it is something that is very likely to happen in the end.
Tottenham have not shown any interest in Ndiaye so far this summer after seemingly having him high on their winger list last season, so if Roberto De Zerbi and Johan Lange value him, now is the time to get interested - or, at least, start to go harder after the wingers they are actually interested in like Savinho before they are off the board, too.
