PSG striker Randal Kolo Munai is in the running for the worst No. 9 in the history of Tottenham Hotspur, and his failed loan from the Ligue 1 giants made Timo Werner's spell in North London look like Jermain Defoe's by comparison. Because while Werner was inept and could not finish, at least he was rapid and tried for the team.

Kolo Muani was the worst possible merenary. Tottenham signed him on transfer deadline day at the behest of executive Fabio Paratici, who recommended the monumental PSG transfer flop highly after a decent spell in 2024/25 with Juventus.

Although Kolo Muani had one great hat trick against his employers PSG in a Champions League lost, he did diddly squat the rest of the season for Spurs. And as the campaign went on and Spurs needed reuslts more and more while facing down relegation, Kolo Muani got worse and stopped trying, throwing in the towel and ticking off fans to no degree.

Randal Kolo Muani is not worth any money

As horrible as Randal Kolo Muani was for Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus have always loved him. They actually tried to sign him back in the middle of the season, and, in hindsight, Spurs supporters wish the club obliged and sent him back to PSG so that RKM could return to Turin.

Now, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that with Kolo Muani's loan to Tottenham officially concluded, Juventus have submitted an opening offer to PSG for more than 30 million euros, and yet there is still a gap in valuation between Juve and PSG.

So that means Kolo Muani could conceivably go for 40 million euros or more. Considering PSG paid 90 million euros to Eintracht Frankfurt for him a few years ago, the French club's stance makes sense, but it is outrageous to think that we live in a world where a striker who literally tanked on a club and was so unprofessional and outright terrible could be worth anywhere near 40 million euros.

Look at Kolo Muani's stats. The man had one goal and one assist in 30 Premier League appearances. 30! He is one of the worst ever strikers to play for a top Premier League club, and yet not but months after his disastrous season in which he nearly got Spurs relegated, he is about to head back to a supposedly top club in Europe for significant money. Spurs can only be glad they are done with this albatross, but fans can only roll their eyes at Juve practically rewarding him for his incompetence.
