Tottenham Hotspur already signed one big star from rivals West Ham United this summer transfer window after relegating them on the final day of the 2025/26 Premier League season, as they splashed 85 million pounds for the Hammers biggest prize and one of the two dream midfield transfer targets for new manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Fernandes was coveted by many big clubs as one of the Premier League's biggest young breakout stars of the last season, and he will immediately start for Spurs. Tottenham have been signing big players from West Ham lately, having stolen their biggest star from them last summer in right winger Mohammed Kudus, who was Spurs best player until his injury in the second half of the season.

There is one other player Tottenham fans have been wondering about, and that ist he most proven player on West Ham in right winger and striker Jarrod Bowen, who provides some of the best end product in the Premier League consistently year over year with a cultured left foot.

Jarrod Bowen is not an option for Spurs

But according to Fabrizio Romano, the veteran English forward will not be going anywhere this summer. Despite West Ham's relegation to the EFL Championship, Bowen will remain loyal to the Hammers. He has decided to stay with the club in the Championship next season, signing a revised contract offer with a salary in line with the English second division. West Ham will not lose their captain to Spurs or any other club.

Although Tottenham are already pretty stocked on the right wing with Mohammed Kudus as the starter, it is hard to say what Dejan Kulusevski will provide after a devastating knee injury at the end of the 2024/25 season that he still has not recovered from. Wilson Odobert looked like a great option on the right wing before his own ACL tear last season, but that then makes it even harder to count on the young Frenchman.

Jarrod Bowen could have been an intriguing addition for Tottenham. He would have been affordable, a proven source of goals, and even an option at striker with Spurs lacking someone who can consistently make the difference that Bowen does.

But Bowen is also 29, which is why he has not been mentioned as one of the main forward targets Tottenham are after: Rafael Leao, Savinho, and Cody Gakpo seem to be their main three options for Roberto De Zerbi right now.
