Tottenham Hotspur striker Randal Kolo Muani has shown some signs of life in recent games with a crucial game tying assist late in the match against Liverpool and the opening headed goal against Atletico Madrid, but, by and large, his loan season with Spurs has been a flop and will mercifully come to its natural and permanent conclusion.
But another logical conclusion for Kolo Muani is to end up at the club he would have likely joined had Fabio Paratici not gotten Tottenham to make a last second swoop for the French No. 9 on transfer deadline day last year.
Juventus were strongly interested in taking a disgruntled Kolo Muani off Tottenham's hands during the winter transfer window, but Spurs ultiamtely kept him despite his undperformance and clear lack of effort, rightfully concluding that they could not afford to lose depth at an already questionable position.
Randal Kolo Muani wants to go back to Juventus
According to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano on his Italian YouTube channel, Randal Kolo Muani is still hoping to move to Juventus this summer. It is a stance that makes one thousand percent sense for RKM, because he played his best football over the past three seasons while on loan at Juve, scoring goals and playing better all around football than what he has shown at Spurs - minus the hat trick against PSG and some good, brief performances before that.
Kolo Muani is still a good striker. He was brilliant for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022/23 when he first broke out, great for Juve in the second half of the 2024/25 season, and he has shown flashes of wonderful play for Tottenham in the 2025/26 season, too.
It just makes more sense for a veteran striker to play for Juve, who have been terrible at the 9 without him this season, than for Tottenham. Spurs already have a better option in Dominic Solanke, and, honestly, Richarlison is a better fit for Spurs since he will give more effort and has a higher clip of scoring goals.
But otherwise, Tottenham need to go younger. Kolo Muani has no ties to the club - and he often plays like it - so when his loan is up, he is heading back to PSG. Of course, he has been so bad for PSG that they are not going to keep him. From there, Juventus know him best, and if Fab is saying that he wants them badly, it is hard to see the Italian giants turning him down in a moment of need for them at striker.
