Tottenham Hotspur are busy trying to bring in two top Premier League midfielders in Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes for Roberto De Zerbi, and after they do that, their attention figures to turn towards rebuilding an attack with quality and goal scoring potential that was among the worst in all of European football last season.

So far, only two names have really been linked to Spurs at the forward positions. The first and most prominent is Manchester City star winger Savinho, who was already a big target for the team in 2025. And then the second is whispered, and that would be Manchester United left winger Marcus Rashford, who is coming back to Old Trafford after Barcelona surprisingly did not pick his option to buy - instead spending more on Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.

Tottenham fans, though, have more exciting players in mind. RB Leipzig gem Yan Diomande is too expensive and looking at bigger clubs, but PSG star Bradley Barcola could be available and is getting looks from Arsenal, who desperately need a star left winger to compete for Champions League titles. Spurs would be salivating at the opportunity to get some Eberechi Eze (and Christian Norgaard) revenge on Arsenal by beating them to the Barcola punch.

Yan Diomande has chosen PSG over Liverpool

It's unclear if Barcola will be formally available this summer, but PSG may have a reason to have to let him go this summer. Because according to a bombshell report from David Ornstein of The Athletic, the Ivory Coast World Cup star and top five Bundesliga player Yan Diomande has made his choice of the future. Despite interest from Liverpool and others in the Premier League, Diomande wants to play for PSG. He believes in their project, and he believes that the back to back Champions League winners give him the best chance at winning trophies year over year. Plus, he also thinks he can win a Ballon d'Or one day in Paris, having watched Frenchman Ousmane Dembele do the same in 2025.

Tottenham Hotspur had some interest in Diomande last year before he blew up and became a player worth more than 100 million euros, so they never really had a shot at him. Therefore, Diomande picking PSG is great news for Spurs, because it means he won't haunt them in the Premier League (Liverpool were highly interested) - and if PSG do sign him this summer, there will be an odd man out.

Bradley Barcola is not as young or as explosive and talented as Diomande, but he is 23 and a proven star at the top Champions League level who can garner double digit goals and assists. He would be better than any forward on Spurs, and though he still qualifies as a pipe dream, his availability is now opened with news that Diomande is calling for the Parisians to make their move.
