PSG superstar Bradley Barcola may be in the shadow of Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olise, and Kylian Mbappe - three Ballon d'Or caliber players - on the French national team, but the Tottenham Hotspur dream left wing target has still managed to stand out at the 2026 World Cup.

Barcola recently added another great goal to his record and has been an explosive weapon out wide for Les Bleus, just as he has been over the years for the Parisian giants. This summer, the 23 year old two time Champions League winner has scored two goals with an assist and has been a massive one on one threat.

Although he is a bit of a pipe dream signing and PSG are relaying that they are not interested in signing him, with Yan Diomande choosing the Ligue 1 giants, he could become available if Luis Enrique's side are able to strike a tough agreement with RB Leipzig for one of the world's biggest breakout wingers, leaving Barcola an odd man out.

Bradley Barcola may be ready to move

It sounds like Bradley Barcola himself is having real thoughts of leaving this summer after the World Cup with France is over. As relayed by Fabrizio Romano, Barcola admitted that he doesn't know what the future holds, failing to commit to PSG.

Barcola said in response to a question about his future after the World Cup, “Focus on World Cup now. After that, my future… I don’t know.”

Liverpool are currently the main favorites for Barcola, needing a true speedster and winger who can also invert and score out left like Luis Diaz did, as Cody Gakpo was not a great fit for the side in the starting lineup, getting in the way of Hugo Ekitike and No. 10 Florian Wirtz, too.

Tottenham Hotspur may find it tough to compete, but this summer, they beat out Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Manchester City because they were willing to spend 185 million pounds combined on star midfielders Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali with Roberto De Zerbi charismatically getting them to buy into the project.

Spurs need attacking difference makers and goal scorers even more than star midfielders, and if De Zerbi can make the right pitch to Barcola that he has the opportunity Liverpool do not and is a better coach to guide the young forward's career than an increasingly under fire Arne Slot, then Spurs have a real shot at Barcola. Tottenham fans have been whispering about him being a possibility, and now Barcola may be starting to open that door.
