The North London Derby is upon, and its the Emirates first playing host in 2025/26. Tottenham have a wretched record at Arsenal's home.
Supporters continue to long for a repeat of 2010, when Harry Redknapp's Spurs overcame a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 3-2, courtesy of an 84th-minute Younes Kaboul winner. The Lilywhites have won in the other half of north London just once since, which was the Dele Alli game in 2018, but that was a Carabao Cup tie.
The visitors thus aren't expected to claim a positive result on Sunday, especially with Arsenal four points clear at the top of the Premier League table. I'll say it begrudgingly and with envy coursing through my fingers as I type, but the Gunners are one of Europe's best, and are the odds-on favourites to end their 21-year wait for a league title.
They were rumbled by Sunderland before the break, though, and I have no doubts that there are a few Gooners who are entering the derby a little concerned. Thomas Frank's Lilywhites could be troublesome opposition, and even a point for the hosts would come as a distinct disappointment.
The two teams faced off in the first ever North London Derby played overseas, with Spurs winning 1-0, but this will be a different experience for Frank entirely.
Here's our preview of Sunday's crunch clash.

Arsenal team news

Arsenal enter the derby with an array of injury doubts, and Mikel Arteta is remaining tight lipped over the status of those in question.
While Kai Havertz suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury and won't be back until next month, there's a chance that Martin Ødegaard and Viktor Gyökeres are both involved. It seems less likely for Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus to make their respective comebacks.
Gabriel is also missing due to a thigh injury, and Arteta will likely turn to either Piero Hincapié or Cristhian Mosquera to replace him. Riccardo Calafiori is set to be fit.
Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Hincapié, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice, Eze; Saka, Gyökeres, Trossard.
Tottenham team news

Frank, on the contrary, was more than willing to provide updates on his contingent of injured players. The Dane confirmed that Mohammed Kudus trained ahead of the derby, so we should expect the Ghanaian to be back in the starting XI, having missed three games before the international break.
Lucas Bergvall and Pape Matar Sarr are also available, while Randal Kolo Muani is set to channel his inner Harry Kane from 2016 and wear a mask for the derby. I'm starting the Frenchman on Sunday, despite the knock he took against Man Utd.
Dominic Solanke remains out, with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski long-term absentees. Xavi Simons could start off the left with Destiny Udogie in the team.
Tottenham predicted lineup vs Arsenal: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Palhinha, Bentancur; Kudus, Sarr, Xavi; Kolo Muani.
Arsenal vs Tottenham score prediction
These are the games we're meant to thrive in under Frank, right?
The blueprints from the UEFA Super Cup and the victory at the Etihad should be rolled out again this weekend, as we face up against an Arsenal team that's all about control. We can't let them dictate terms and territory. We'll be sitting ducks.
A brave approach without the ball is needed, although there will be times when we must dig in and resist the inevitable waves of pressure that the hosts could sustain. They're good enough to. Overall, I'm expecting a bitty derby bereft of big moments, and a low-key 1-1 draw would do us just fine.
I'm being incredibly optimistic, though.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham
