Ange Postecoglou did not have a particularly great time at Tottenham Hotspur, but he was able to get the club a trophy in his last ever match for the London outfit.
The Australian coach saw the side finish 17th in the Premier League, so a sacking was justified in that sense, but his time at the club will always be looked at as bittersweet, as he did end the drought and brought the club some silverware.
He has since joined fellow Premier League team Nottingham Forest, where, to put it delicately, he has found it tough.
Ange Postecoglou has had a horrible start to his Nottingham Forest stint
Nottingham Forest have yet to win a single game so far under Postecoglou, with the latest nail in the coffin coming on Thursday when they lost 3-2 at home to Midtjylland.
It was a game where Forest had the upper hand in terms of shots and chances created, but Midtjylland were too clinical in front of goal, too resillient while defending against Forest and really brought out the insecurities of Forest's lack of set-piece defense.
They overwhelmed the home side with one good set-piece after another, and it was a great experience for the handful of travelling fans cheering their team on after every pass and shot.
However, as for the former Spurs manager, he has not found any less difficulty than he did at Spurs a few months ago. Postecoglou still cannot manage to get his team to defend well in key moments, and they are really struggling during life after Nuno Espirito Santo.
Postecoglou was still optimistic about his chances of turnng it around at the City Ground, where he saw a lot of jeers, most namingly the chant, "You're getting sacked in the morning" by his own fans.
In fact, in the six games Postecoglou has managed so far for Nottingham Forest, they have drawn two and lost four, most of which were games they were expected to win.
They drew against a feisty Real Betis side, they lost to a Midtjylland side they should have beaten, they were shocked by Swansea City, lost to Arsenal, lost at home to Sunderland and drew to a newly promoted Burnley.
Those are just not good results for a team that was challenging for a top-four finish last season.
They did not even lose that many players in the transfer market, and ended up signing a bunch of good ones from different clubs as well.
The writing could be on the wall for Postecoglou in a few matches if their fortunes don't change, and that would conclude a bad addition to his CV.
