Tottenham Hotspur have their best manager right now since Mauricio Pochettino in Roberto De Zerbi, who spared the club from relegation last season in the final weeks of the campaign and is currently recruiting some of the biggest signings to the team over the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid.

But even though De Zerbi is a huge upgrade over what Spurs had previously, fans will always have love for Ange Postecoglou, who promised a major trophy and brought home the first Europa League in more than 40 years in the 2024/25 season.

Even though things did not work out for Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest last season, which was honestly a great outcome for Spurs fans anyway, he still has a great reputation in football, as proved by his most recent appointment.

Ange Postecoglou still has a great rep

Because Postecoglou will get to manage the GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo, as reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al Nassr announced the hiring of Big Ange to the club on a two year deal.

Al Nassr have some of the biggest names in the world like Cristiano, Joao Felix, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, and Kingsley Coman, and defenders Mohamed Simakan and Inigo Martinez are also highly respected playres in the sport.

That is a huge next step for Postecoglou, and Tottenham Hotspur fans can only wish their Europa League winning manager the best as he gets to work with absolute legends of the game. Meanwhile, Thomas Frank is still on the unemployment line, and Big Ange's successor only has Birmingham City, one of the worst organizations in the sport, interested in the man.

It really shows you the vast gulf between Postecoglou and Frank and that it isn't in the heads of Spurs fans when they say that Thomas Frank is the worst manager in the club's history and several rungs below Postecoglou, who did already have flaws as a Premier League manager.

The fact that Frank cannot even get a job in this spot while Cristiano Ronaldo is enough of a fan of Postecoglou to accept his appointment at Al Nassr speaks volumes. And while Postecoglou will always be remembered as an icon of Tottenham for winning the Europa League, Frank's name will forever be in the mud as a specialist in failure who infamously said Tottenham could expect to lose half their games under him - and he somehow did even worse than that. Big ups to Big Ange, who will get to manage the players Frank never will.
