Analysis of each performance in the win over Manchester City

Pape Matar Sarr
Perhaps the unsung hero of yesterday. The attacking players are rightly getting plenty of credit for their displays, but it would not be possible without the likes of Sarr winning the ball back and putting out fires.
We have mostly seen Kulusevski, a completely different player, play as the right sided central midfielder this season, but Sarr was excellent in his display there in this game. His ability to win the ball back, win duels, and draw fouls to get Spurs up the pitch was just perfect yesterday.
Make no mistake, Sarr is an absolutely incredible player, who continues to go under the radar. The midfielder goes about his business quietly, constantly doing the dirty work and giving the freedom for the offensive players to express themselves. What a guy, what a player.
