Analysis of each performance in the win over Manchester City
By Tom Vinall
Radu Dragusin
This was perhaps the most encouraging performance of all. There is no doubt that Dragusin needed this, after his performances against Qarabag and Galatasaray in particular. Fans were worried about the idea of him playing against Haaland, but the striker barely got a sniff.
Whilst Spurs were not as high up the pitch as they usually are, they still squeezed up when possible and there were times when Dragusin had to defend space vs Haaland and co. This performance will really put the 22-year old in good stead going forward.
With the injuries to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, the Romanian centre half is going to be needed in the coming games, so this was just great to see. Like Porro, a good international break no doubt helped things ahead of the game. Long may it continue.
