Tottenham have a handful of talented wingers who are all aiming to establish themselves as sure-fire starters in the XI, but with the future of manager Ange Postecoglou and even club icon Son Heung-min up in the air, the wings could look very different by the time the 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off.

With the current campaign winding down and the summer 2025 transfer window on the horizon, let's take a look at five wingers Tottenham could add in order to bring some more attacking juice to their front three next season with presumably a new manager in charge.

Bayern Munich LW Mathys Tel

Let's start with the obvious. Tottenham have the opportunity to buy talented left winger Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich for 60 million euros if they activate this option to buy clause in his loan agreement. That is, however, a lot of money, and Transfermarkt currently values Tel as a 40 million euro player.

That's not far off, and Tel has played so well lately with Son injured that he may even be an upgrade. If Tottenham can indeed sell Son for 50 million euros to a Saudi Pro League club, then an overall net loss of 10 million euros for a younger and potentially better player is not bad at all.

It's more likely, though, that Tottenham try to negotiate Tel's price down a little bit or get him on another loan deal. Bayern Munich could use a new left winger, but the good news for Spurs is that they don't seem to value Tel as part of their future.

Monaco RW Maghnes Akliouche

Monaco have been producing great talents for years, and even though the squad that reached the Champions League semifinals is long gone, the Monegasque side continues to produce some of the finest talents in French - and European - football.

That includes 23-year-old right winger Maghnes Akliouche, who has been flying under the radar but was a standout in this season's Champions League and has more than a year of good film under his belt now, Akliouche is a great progressor with endless energy who has developed strong creative and goal-scoring instincts in 2024/25 with 12 goal contributions, 1.6 key passes per game, and 1.5 dribbles completed per match.

Strasbourg RW Dilane Bakwa

Staying in Ligue 1, Dilane Bakwa is an even more underrated right winger who is doing some strong work with surprise side Strasbourg, currently seventh in the league and in a position to qualify for European football next season. Bakwa has been helping to lead the charge, and after Chelsea loanee Andrey Santos, you can make a great case for the 22-year-old Frenchman being Strasbourg's second-best player.

He also has 12 goal contributions in the current Ligue 1 campaign with a whopping 2.6 fouls drawn and 1.5 dribbles completed per game with an additional 1.7 key passes per match. An underrated and high-upside winger who causes an ever-presence sense of danger while creating clear chances, Bakwa is a potential hidden gem who can add the dagger one-on-one ability that Tottenham are missing badly out wide in 2025.

Dortmund LW Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is another fiery dribbler, and while he continues to have technical limitations that make him a bit risky given how expensive Borussia Dortmund players and England internationals are, JBG is indeed having a strong season for BVB despite some tailing off lately.

He is unafraid to go after any defensive player, often taking on multiple markers. Bynoe-Gittens can open up a lot of space for his teammates with his gashing runs, and his overall end product has improved by leaps and bounds over the years in the Bundesliga.

This season, Bynoe-Gittens is averaging 2.7 dribbles completed per game with 8 total goals scored. He can be a little overrated and may be out of Tottenham's price range, but at 20 years old and with his raw athletic talent, Bynoe-Gittens is worth looking at, especially if Tottenham lose Son and can't keep Tel.

Brentford RW Bryan Mbeumo

There are a handful of Premier League options worth looking at, but many of them, including Bournemouth right winger Antoine Semenyo, look like overinflated bad buys waiting to happen (just like Dominic Solanke was for the Spurs from the Cherries last summer).

Bryan Mbeumo is one of the few who looks legit. He does such a great job of using his body and using hesitation movements to open just the right space and angle for a shot or cross. His decision-making, technical ability, and athleticism are all well above-average, and he is the key difference-maker for a pretty good Brentford team.

If Tottenham do indeed replace Ange Postecoglou with Thomas Frank, that only increases the chances of the 25-year-old Brentford right winger joining Tottenham for his prime years. Mbeumo has scored 18 goals this season and would immediately give Spurs what they need most: end product.
