Harry Kane seems to be staying, but that isn’t preventing Tottenham from pursuing more attacking options.

Cue the Gift Orban rumours.

Orban notched his first hat-trick of the season as K.A.A. Gent walloped Pogoń Szczecin 5-0 in the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round 1st leg at the Ghelamco Arena in Ghent in Belgium on Wednesday

At 21 years old, the prolific and ridiculously talented frontman has caught the eye of many European clubs, and Spurs are no exception.

Per reports, he has been linked with a potential €30m departure from Gent. His stats speak for themselves after scoring 22 goals in 24 games for the Belgian side.

Sacha Tavolieri is on top of the latest developments:

Any Spurs fan across the Kane transfer drama knows the anxiety that comes with the thought of Richarlison as our primary number 9, whose goals to date for the club can be counted on one hand.

Additionally, while Alejo Veliz strengthens our long-term attack options ahead of a prospective Kane departure next summer, if not now, it’s still too early to know how he’ll fare in Europe’s most physical league.

Of course a last-minute Kane transfer would push Spurs to act more more urgently.

According to Tavolieri, Postecoglou is a proponent of the young phenom, which makes sense given his obvious fit within the high-pressing attacking football Ange is implementing. Should Kane leave, Orban would be a no-brainer and necessary signing.

It is a potentially exciting deal; however, it is important to note that should Kane stay at the club, the more pressing matter is offloading Davinson Sanchez and Sergio Reguilon, among others, while bringing in one more central defender.

If we can offload at least two to three players and bring in another centre-back, it would be the perfect end to a superb summer transfer window.

Now imagine a Gift of Orban’s exquisiteness landing in N17.
