According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham has the inside track on retaining the highly regarded 15-year-old Mikey Moore.

The Tottenham Hotspur Youth player is a wanted commodity for various clubs across Europe, and Daniel Levy is reportedly pulling out all the stops to ensure he stays at Spurs.

What those stops are anyone’s guess. He’s probably getting a 10 percent reduction on the senior side’s season tickets. That would be prototypical Levy.

Moore has made 10 international caps, three for the Under-15 and seven for the Under-16s. The left winger has breakneck pace and skill that defies his age.

His potential is limitless, which is why Levy is hellbent on keeping the youngster at Hotspur Way.

While we’ll have to wait a few years to see the progress he makes, hopefully, he’s the breakthrough player we’ve been waiting about a decade for.

Harry Kane was 16 years old when he signed his first Tottenham contract.

While decidedly aspirational, wouldn’t it be lovely to see Moore eventually follow Kane’s footsteps and emulate Tottenham’s all-time goalscorer?

Ok, now I’m definitely getting ahead of myself.
