Tottenham about to confirm permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski
By Gary Pearson
Tottenham and Juventus have agreed regarding Dejan Kulusevski, who will permanently join the north London club for a reported £26 million.
Spurs supporters rejoice.
The Swede is going to be a permanent member of Tottenham Hotspur. Not only that, but Tottenham also got their man for £26 million, about £5 million less than initially expected.
While anticipated and expected, it’s still a superb day for Tottenham. Landing Dejan’s services permanently for less than £30 million is a massive win.
Now the Swede can concentrate on returning to the form he showed when arriving in north London in January 2022, when he was one of the top flight’s best-attacking players.
Due to various reasons, he slowed down considerably in 2022-23. Then again, so too did everyone on the roster, aside from one Mr. Harry Kane.
Kulusevski should flourish as one of Tottenham’s attacking trio in the forthcoming campaign.
He will be asked to camp out on the touchline, consistently isolating the opposing fullback. Kulu can exploit that one vs. one situation, showcasing his skill, power, and tenacity.
The contract is expected to run until 2027. Other intricate details regarding the permanent move have yet to be released but expect official confirmation imminently.
It’s a damn good way for Spurs supporters to enter the weekend. On to the next bit of business. While it was always predicted to come to fruition, this move is still incredibly encouraging.
Hopefully, it’s the first of many important signings as we enter the Ange era.
