Tottenham player ratings in dominant 3-0 whitewash of Arsenal

Midfield
Rodrigo Bentancur 9/10
The Uruguayan is thoroughly enjoying life in the Premier League. He’s made a huge impact on Spurs’ first team and did so again this evening. He dictated play and picked out the right ball almost every time he gained possession. He’s always available as an outlet and is as communicative as anyone on the pitch. Bentancur turned provider on Kane’s second, with the Uruguayan finding the Englishman at the back post after a deft headed flick-on.
Pierre Hojbjerg 8/10
The midfield duo had a field day with Arsenal in the middle of the park, even before Holding was sent off. Hojbjerg was his usual dogged self but also delivered some excellent passes, both short and long. He did concede possession a few times, as he always seems to. Though none of his errant passes cost Spurs.
Emerson Royal 8/10
The Brazilian showed a bit of quality going forward this evening, a pleasant surprise for all Spurs supporters. He skied a couple of wild shots and forced Aaron Ramsdale into an acrobatic save after a solid close-range header made possible by a wizard-like Harry Kane delivery.
Ryan Sessegnon7/10
The left wingback is really coming into his own under Antonio Conte’s tutelage. It’s no wonder the Englishman has earned the right as Tottenham’s first choice on that side. He was excellent in all aspects of his game, both defensively and going forward.
