Tottenham Hotspur gets back to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon by hosting Newcastle United, here are the XI Antonio Conte will start for the match.

After 13 days off for the international break, Tottenham Hotspur starts their big run-in by hosting Eddie Howe’s new-look Newcastle side. After a rough start for the Toon under Howe, the club went on a massive eight-game unbeaten run from January through March. Despite losing their last two matches and picking up some injuries, Newcastle should be strong. As such, and with recovery time between games, expect Conte to start his top, which should be becoming familiar to most fans by now.

Tottenham starting forwards

With Tottenham’s top four attackers in action during the international break, Spurs were lucky to avoid any fresh injuries. With everyone available and fit, the now regular front three will be starting for Spurs.

Left forward – Heung-min Son

After playing two matches for South Korea, Heung-min Son is back and should be ready to go. Any thought pundits had that Sonny was not on form was laid to rest in the convincing win over West Ham before the break. Son will be looking to build off that performance and attack a Newcastle team that will be missing former Spur Kierran Trippier at right-back. Instead, Son is likely to face Emil Krafth and should be looking to attack the Swede with the ball.

Righ forward – Dejan Kulusevski

Speaking of attacking and Swedes, Dejan Kulusevski should be in the line-up despite logging extra minutes for Sweden over the break. Deki has proven to be an excellent fit for Conte’s system, showing both the footballing ability and acumen to excel, feeding off Son and Harry Kane. Kulusevski should have a friendly battle with Matt Targett for most of the game, but it will be an advantage for Spurs if he can get inside one-on-one with Dan Burn.

Centre forward – Harry Kane

After another goal with England, it would seem the form of Harry Kane continued from north London to the national team. After a molasses-slow start to the season, Kane has gotten his Premier League total to 12 goals, tied for fourth with Ronaldo. Mohamed Salah and the Golden Boot are seemingly out of reach, with Salah sitting on 20 goals, but with seven in his last seven matches, nothing is impossible. The team needs a big game from Kane if they want a big win against the Magpies.
