Tottenham player ratings in devastating 3-2 defeat to Southampton

Harry Kane 6/10
Played decently in the second half and made numerous outstanding passes, including a wonderful pass to Reguilon in the first half. He set up Moura, who assisted on Son’s goal. Kane didn’t impact the match nearly enough in the first half, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Missed a sitter he cannot afford to miss.
Son Heung-min 7/10
Finished sublimely in the second half on a wonderful, pinpoint cross from Lucas Moura. Otherwise, the South Korean was pretty quite. He had a terrible touch on a golden opportunity — from a Saints giveaway — early in the second half.
Lucas Moura 7.5/10
What a pass to set up Sonny’s second half goal. Moura was spritely throughout but never got in a clear shooting position. He made some rangy runs and played an incredible through ball with the outside of his boot which led to Spurs’ first goal.
Rodrigo Bentancur 8/10
Looked excellent off the bench, just like he did against Brighton. I’ll be flabbergasted if he isn’t in the starting lineup on Sunday.
Steven Bergwijn N/A
Dejan Kulusevsk 6/10
Made life difficult for Southampton but didn’t really create any opportunities.
