Now into the last 24 hours of the transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur still has a lot of work as no deals are final, and more need to be made.

It will likely be a busy day at N17 as Tottenham Hotspur looks to close the transfer window strong. We should expect announcements on several deals, and even after that, there is more work to do. Here is a look at the minimum to expect from Tottenham on deadline day as Spurs look to get busy.

Deals Tottenham needs to make official

At this point, there seem to be at least five moves Spurs will finalize on deadline day for Tottenham, with at least three players going out and another two players coming to Hotspur Way.

After lengthy negotiations following underwhelming stints at Tottenham, Spurs seem to be moving Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso out on loan. Ndombele appears headed back to Lyon, France, where he originally came, while Lo Celso is heading down to Spain. While both are talented players, neither has lived up to their cost or expectations in north London.

Joining Lo Celso and Ndombele on the way out appears to be Bryan Gil. Gil going out is a disappointment for some as he only signed this past summer and has struggled for time. However, given that struggle for playing time and the need to gain some confidence and form, Gil should play and find more success at Valencia than not doing anything at N17.

Counter to those players heading out, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski are almost certain to be announced at Tottenham players early in the day coming over from Juve. Landing two players should increase the team’s depth and the competition across the attack and midfield.

So the minimum marker is set, three out and two in. If Spurs finalize those five moves as expected, the question becomes what else.
