It seems Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele is not going on loan to PSG, as, via Julien Maynard of Téléfoot, the negotiations have broken down.

Still waiting for secondary confirmation on the news, but things do not look good for Tottenham’s chances of offloading Ndombele, at least in terms of Paris as the destination. This would be yet another setback in a long line of disappointing news in recent days.

First Adama Traore decided a move to Barcelona was more to his liking, then Luis Diaz slipped through Spurs’ fingers and now Ndombele, a player Tottenham need to get rid of, is not going anywhere.

There is still time for Spurs to find another suitor for Ndombele, but the prospective deal with PSG, it turns out, was indeed too good to be true. The Parisians had every intention of paying Ndombele’s entire salary, though other proposed suitors have also purportedly committed to paying the Frenchman’s salary.

Valencia and Everton are still thought to be in the running to sign Ndombele, but the airwaves recently have fallen quiet on that accord. That might change now the Ndombele to PSG deal is reportedly dead.

It’s imperative for Tottenham to find a way to offload the exiled Frenchman, who hasn’t seen any action since sauntering petulantly off the pitch in Tottenham’s FA Cup match against Morecambe weeks ago.

He then trained in isolation in the aftermath of the act, which garnered widespread condemnation from Tottenham supporters.

It is still unclear what exactly caused the breakdown in negotiations. What is clear, however, is this piece of news, if confirmed, will irritate supporters across the globe, most of whom believed Tanguy already had one door out of north London.
