The match odds for Tottenham Hotspur vs Morecambe reinforce the lopsided nature of tomorrow’s third round FA Cup contest.

Sunday’s match from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium marks the first time these two clubs will play each other in a competitive fixture. Morecambe, who are are reeling in 19th place in League One, will revel in the chance to play at Spurs’ grandiose £1 billion stadium. The away side will want to make the most of the opportunity, such is the unlikelihood of a repeat visit.

Antonio Conte will assuredly rotate the squad and use the opportunity to give some fringe players a run in the team. Even with a weaker side, the match odds, brought to you by Wynnbet, tell an obvious tale.

Tottenham are pegged as -1250 favourites, while Morecambe are looking at astronomical +2700 odds on the moneyline.

That means you’d have to place a bet of $1250 on Tottenham to see a $100 return, if the home side wins as expected.

Backing Morecambe, on the other hand, pays out handsomely if the League One side somehow gets the better of the Premier League giants. If you put $100 on Morecambe to win, and they do, you’ll earn a return of $2700.

You might want to take a look at the Goals Over/Under market, as it provides some mouthwatering lines. As Tottenham will invariably start with a weaker first 11, you might want to jump on the under 3.5 goals total line. Put $10 on both teams to combine for 3 goals or less and you’ll make the the same $10 return.

Next. Why Daniel Levy's meeting with Joe Lewis is so pivotal for Tottenham's future. dark

Those staggering odds put this match into perspective. It’s a quintessential David vs. Goliath FA Cup contest. Regardless of which players Conte decides to go with, Tottenham shouldn’t have many issues in advancing to the fourth round.
