1. Tottenham showed resilience and a winning character

Coming back from a goal down against an elite team is never an easy task. Tottenham showed collective character and poise to erase Liverpool’s 2-1 second half lead. It would have been easy for Spurs to capitulate after Andrew Robertson’s 69th minute goal, particularly after the tireless work and energy the home side committed to the match. Instead, Spurs responded like a championship-caliber side and reaped the rewards.
