After a sorry effort from the second team midweek, more was expected from Tottenham Hotspur who was never good enough in a 1-0 loss at West Ham, here are our player ratings from the loss.

Tottenham player of the match – N/A

In reflecting on Sunday’s loss from London Stadium to West Ham, it is hard to identify one Tottenham Hotspur who really played well. Sergio Reguilon was having a decent enough game until he made a huge mistake that led to the goal.

Harry Kane had a couple of decent passes but rarely a look at goal and was beaten on the only goal of the game.  Heung-Min Son was a willing runner but really only had one big chance and he made the wrong decision going for goal over passing to Kane in the middle.

The reality is not one Tottenham player did enough to help pull the team to victory against a West Ham team ready for the taking. In the end, it was another disappointing effort in a season already full of them.  Here are our ratings.
