Tottenham Hotspur has another London derby on Sunday as they travel across town to take on West Ham United at Olympic Stadium. With the winner moving into the top four, what can we expect from Spurs at the Hammers?

Form a matter of perspective with both teams

From one perspective, neither Tottenham Hotspur nor West Ham United have played particularly well this season and are struggling to find their rhythm. Spurs have lost as many matches, four, as they have won in their last nine games, with one draw. Like Spurs, West Ham has only four wins in their last eight matches, with two losses and two draws combined.

But that form is only taking into account the Premier League play. If you look at all competitions, Spurs have actually won four of their last six matches, with two defeats, and the Hammers have won five and lost only 1 in their last six games in all competitions. A 1-2 loss at home to Brentford has been the Hammer’s only defeat in that span, with West Ham scoring 10 and conceding only 3.

Okay, so maybe only the Spurs really haven’t found their rhythm, and coming off a 3-0 hammering for Genk in Europa League where Declan Rice played just over an hour and Michail Antonio did not play at all, West Ham has the better form heading into the match, but just slighting, and Spurs are actually ahead in the table, so what is form anyway.
