Tottenham Hotspur has their second group stage match in the UEFA Europa Conference League Thursday vs MS Mura, here are the XI Nuno Espirito Santo is going to start.

As difficult as it may be to believe, Thursday’s game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is already a must-win situation for Santo and Spurs, given the poor form throughout September. A loss to Mura, a team playing in their first European group stage, at home would simply be devastating to a team already thin on confidence.  The real question is what does Nuno do to instill that confidence and get the big win the team needs? Here is our best guess with our projected XI for Mura, starting with the goalkeeper.

Pierluigi Gollini gets the call again

Over the last month, neither club captain Hugo Lloris, nor new back-up Pierluigi Gollini has really distinguished themselves as goalkeepers. While neither has had any howlers, conceding 13 goals in the last five matches is terrible. The team just needs a clean sheet to get back some defensive moxie and Gollini needs one period.

Tottenham hasn’t seen a clean sheet since the end of August against Watford, and Gollini has not seen one since before that when Spurs beat Pacos de Ferreira at home.  The success of that Pacos game is what Gollini and Spurs will be looking for on Thursday.

Here are the players in front of the Italian keeper that will help make a big victory happen.
