Tottenham Hotspur travels across north London to the Emirates on Sunday to take on Arsenal, here are the XI Nuno Espirito Santo will start to beat the Gunners.

Tottenham got a little momentum back on their side after defeating Wolverhampton on penalties in the Carabao Cup. Those are positive vibes the club really needs after consecutive rough defeats, following a perfect 3-0 start. With getting back into the winning column in mind, taking it to their archrivals in the process, here are the XI Santo that will start for Spurs.

Tottenham Goalkeeper – Hugo Lloris

Despite conceding six goals in his last two outings, Hugo Lloris really has not played poorly this season. His biggest mistake thus far has been his decision to roll the ball out to Eric Dier under pressure, which led to the defender’s injury.

With 19 saves already this season, Lloris is third in the league before heading into Arsenal. With the Gunners’ tendency to shoot whenever they get a chance, Lloris should expect to be busy on Sunday and increase that save total by a few.

Almost as important as his saves this season has been his willingness to restart quickly, often with a long punt to the attackers. If Lloris can command his box and cut out a couple of crosses, there may be a real opportunity to hit Arsenal on the counter as they push their fullbacks up the pitch.

We should expect and Tottenham needs a big match from their captain and Spurs should get it. Here are the other 10 who will help protect Lloris’ goal.
