Tottenham, with an impressive 1-0 over City, showed a level of determination and commitment on opening day supporters will be proud of.

Nuno’s pre-season preparation paid off, as Tottenham were incredibly well organized defensively while offering enough attacking threat to trouble City on the counter. It was a thrilling opening to a season that has been tainted by an inordinate amount of off-field drama.
